I am completely new to blogging so bear with me as I feel my way through this!
I'm starting this mainly to keep you all updated on my Summer in Chicago on project with Campus Crusade for Christ. I will spend ten weeks (June 6 - August 13) in Chicago on the Crossroads Summer Project, interning for Zero Canvas as a graphic designer and partnering with the Chicago Summer Project for all the project activities. To be really honest, I'm not quite sure what all I'll be doing yet. I know that God has led me to this though and He has an awesome plan for this summer!
I really hope to figure out how to truly make Jesus my best friend. I will have no one else to rely on, going a few days late to project because of my brother's wedding, all by myself, knowing no one, I will definitely need to be trusting Jesus to be with me. I can't wait to develop a closer relationship with God, learn how to truly study and appreciate His word, and serve Him selflessly this summer.
I'm still working on raising support for the necessary living costs and materials required for the project, so if you could be praying for support and that God would be working on my heart, preparing me for this summer, that would be awesome!
